No prob. It is an excellent story that our own Marco wrote some time back. It literally moved me to tears.

Correction: Rich Wilson aka Cuteswan wrote "Full Life". Marco drew it instead. I agree, it's a beautiful story, if only too long. (Imagine reading it in foreign language! ) But it definitely moved me.

I finished FLWS today, and figured I'd come here just to post my thoughts, as I did with LF. Much like LF, this story left me in a daze. Seeing Lisa in these situations (abuse at the hands of a sadistic man, suffering from a brain tumor) is almost more than I can take. As Bob Dylan said, "The human mind can only stand so much." It's like standing behind a soundproof glass window looking in; I see her pain and sadness, and as much as I long to reach out and be there for her, I have to stand by and watch powerless as the situation unfolds. It drives me crazy, but in the end I have to grit my teeth and live with it. It'll take a bit to repair my mind, but such is the price I pay for reading such moving stories. But now, let's get to the review. Overall I think Mr. Wilson did a brilliant job of portraying the characters accurately. I admired his ability to keep humor linked with a very serious plot line. His depiction of characters such as Kent Brockman, Lindsay Naegle, Sideshow Bob, and others are flawless, exactly what I would expect from a typical episode of the Simpsons. It was a long story (the only downside) but well worth the read in my opinion. Again, the writer was able to draw emotions out of me at certain times that made the story that much more powerful. Very good story though, I don't regret having read it.

I finished just a while ago and loved every moment. It is a well written story and I have no complaints. Not even the length bothered me, I wish it kept going as a matter of fact. My compliments to the author.

Aah, it's nice to remember good things. I still have the picture i did inspired by this wonderful fic printed out and i keep it there to remind me of how much can these yellow characters do, emotionally speaking. Of course, with a great writer to back them up I wish Rich was still around to reach these comments, sadly he's disappeared from the net. I still think this fic is the best simspons crossover fan fiction ever made. The ending ("mail" included) gets me everytime, i would reread it completely if i just had the time.

That's a shame I would love to have been able to discuss it with him. The ending, now that I think about it, must have gotten jumbled as it wasn't clear to me exactly how the two Shinigami were set up. Did I miss something, or is this because I've never heard of the anime that is used for the crossover? PM is fine to avoid spoilers. (I can't highlight stuff)
Oh, and could you link to some of the pics you and others did for it?

I really do know what to say. yhat was some awsome story please can someone hand me a tissue or two. So emotional, and yet gave me s feeling of peace reading it. One of the final scenes with the angels before going through the gates, is how I hope my dad felt, seeing those who passed away who cared for him. I think that and the way the emotions throughout the story were handled is what gave me a feeling of peace. It sounds pathetic but reading this story hopefully I can convert my own grief into something so I can move ahead. I am not really a big story reader but this is epic in my opinion... not many storys have made me have so many feelings. Laughter, happiness, sadness, worry, grief and above all empathy. I really hope Rich, wherever he is knows that he has touched people with this story. Thank you! One thing that came to mind while reading the bit with the Shinigami and angels is this song...... Keane - Bedshaped. I was crying and smiling at the same time on how this was written and I played this song while i read it... seems to fit well. The lyrics say to me that someone who is ill (tem bedshaped) passes on, and as they do they knock on the door (door of heaven) are led up in white light. Its not the published meaning of the track but it comforted me after my dads passing away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNbBM2WLC_M

This story really offers unequalled opportunities. What was featuring in Child of Darkness only in the end, you get here all the time - I mean this mexture of feelings, hard to describe. Many times and especially in the end I was having lumps in my throat and tears... At the other hand they're many happy moments too, but mostly it's sad. As she had a cardiac arrest I became little bit shocked. It's simply wonderfully intensive. I coudn't stop reading until the end!
