I'm writing a fic. Yes. ( bet you didn't see that coming, did you? )
But there's next to no original characters, only my own. And I'm not sure if this is a rule where you only have to include main characters for the plot?  F.E; Lisa, Homer, Bart, etc.  Confused

I might introduce other secondary characters F.E; Burns, Flanders, Wiggum, etc.
But just because it has no original main characters, can it still be enjoyable, or would it not count as a fic. Just a story  Question

So if I interpreted this correctly...

You're writing a fic set in the Simpsons reality, but you aren't using any characters we've seen in the show?

Correct. But the main characters aren't ones from the show.

Why not? I guess not Simpsons characters make a story good, but author's talent does.
