full and lite sounds the best from a user's point of view (that way eveyrone' happy) if you don't mind doing the extra work.

I wouldn't have a problem downloading larger files as I've got broadband, however,  those on dialup or with bandwidth/download limits may struggle.   From the ones I've looked at, the resolution is perfectly useable on the lite versions and they're suitable for all connections so despite the extra work you have to do resizing etc. this is probably still the way to go.   Of course, as D.B. said, offering full and lite versions would be the ideal solution, if you've got the time and the server space.  Smile

The ftp owner, Dagdamor, says that the space is not a problem. And I don't mind doing some extra work (in fact, that's how I read the books - while resizing them:-) ). So I think I'll be uploading two versions from now - Hires and midres (for "lores" sounds so cheap).

Yeah, and we have some more good news.
mmaavv uploaded some books, such as:
- Andrew Loomis - Eye Of The Painter 2.pdf
- Artist's Companion - Construction Aid For Artists .pdf
- Burne Hogarth - Dynamic Figure Drawing.pdf
- Drawing realistic textures in pencil .pdf
- Learn To Paint Flowers.pdf
- the encyclopedia of airbrush tecniques.pdf
And many more, but that's up to you to look for:-)

Furthermore, as the collection is getting sort of large, we reorganized it so that it is easier for you to navigate through. I think it's more convenient now that we have folders and stuff.
I really do hope we didn't foul up anyone's downloads. If we did, we're deeply sorry. We'll try not to do that anymore:-)

Nice work once again. Smile "Arranged" version of the collection looks more convenient to me.

These guides are a life saver. I've been browsing for a guide on how to draw Lisa using those construction lines, to make perspectives work easier. However, I came across this:

http://www.drawingnow.com/how-to-draw-lisa-simpson.html

If your a Lisa fanatic, and EXTREMELY lazy (like me when I started), use this guide!
Otherwise... just, move along.  Rolls Eyes

Good news for those who are going to make an old-skool computer game of their own:-)
I happened to come across some neat pixel-art tutorials. If anybody wants to learn how they used to create computer graphics so many years ago, welcome:-)
Some cool examples of pixel-art can also be found here.

Whoa... don't tell me that some of those photorealistic images weren't just processed from photos, but were drawn by hands. That just can't be possible. o_O
Both links seem to be great resources... even if you aren't planning to draw in pixelart style, it's still nice to check all those pictures.
Here is something for example Smile Isn't it nicely done.

I always loved Pixel Art, reminds me of the old games from the past and their beautifully hand drawn graphics. So many memories, and it's great to see that even today, lots of people still like that and work to bring it forward in the internet. Smile Thanks for the links, Fulbert!

You're welcome, but I'm afraid right now this server doesn't work... the old hosting is overdue and I still didn't find a decent replacement yet. But once I'll manage to find a new place of all this goodness, I'll let you know. Smile
