Nope. You're still mistaken, I've been doing this for years.
I've used Freewebs, 50 Megs and the lot of it, I've been there and done it. Dreamweaver isnt hard to get hold of as long as you dont have a problem with cracking it. Free website builders arent any good when effectivly you can get a program that has both a design and a code view for free.
All free hosts will forse advertisements as you said, 50 megs I know places one on top, one on the left and one on the right, Freewebs isnt so bad, but they forse a top banner which scrolls with the screen and is annoying.
They clog your code with pointless javascript because of those ads thus making the page load slower, probably even for faster connection.
KDL has used Piczo, he's learned the truth about it, and agrees with EVERYONE in the community which you are completely oblivious too, called "The Simpsons Community".
Also, for some people creating a website, reading code, learning programming languages can be fun for some people, it is for me. Not everyone likes to get on a skateboard and perform the same kickflip over and over, and probably break a few bones in the process.
I've seen some of your pages, while your art is good, the actual site itself wasnt. You must have a design of some type. You dont have to use fancy PHP. But you must at least understand HTML so that you know whats going on with the page.
I have created a site for Maggiecute and I also host it, at
http://monica.babysimpson.co.uk, creating a website isnt rocket science.
Free pagebuilders = Laziness
Actually understanding and building it yourself = Professionalism
