I usually don't sketch with my tablet unless I'm coloring.
I think Homer could fit in as Victor, aside from his oafish and clumsy nature. Don't diss it for the headshot and somewhat sloppy-ness.  Homer I have a better one in my sketchbook.

I think you mean Victor from Corpse Bride, yes? Big Grin

Anywho, for what we get to see here, it's a nice revisiting of Homer's looks for sure. Well done, imo, now i'm curious to see the one you sketched!

Yeah, it is Victor from Corpse Bride. I probably should have posted that for the people who have never heard/seen the movie. Tongue
But anyways, I'll probably go get it and scan it in really soon. Big Grin

The suit looks nice, but the head looks a bit off. It's a bit hard to form a decent opinion from such a little picture. I'll post some more once you've posted the one from your sketchbook Wink

I wonder why he looks so sad... of course it's a very simple sketch (even I could produce something like that, after a hour or so of body movements and muttered swearings Tongue), but it looks nice. I look forward to see that other sketch you mentioned.

Here is the sketch I was babling about earlier.
It looks a little better because I took my time with it. Tongue

Nice pic! It fits your style (long and slender arms/legs) and his hands also look really nice. It looks like he has a black eye (his left eye), but I guess that can be fixed during the tracing and coloring Smile

Keep up the good work!

Tim Burton meets Matt Groening? Wink

I know both styles quite well and i like how you mixed them... especially the sad-almost empty looking eyes and the exagerately thin and long limbs. They can both be recognized very well without much effort. So that is a success in my book  Wink

Yay for Success!

Keep up the good work!

From watching the works of Tim Burton, I've noticed that some of his characters have darkness under their eyes. ( Like his short movie, Vincent )
Take a good look at a picture of Victor, perhaps.
He has a little darkness under his eyes. Almost like eyeliner but it's more like being awake too long. Smile

Nice. Smile His expression reminds me of Homer... but that's the only one details since everything else looks very original. Good job with his clothes - very detailed!

That's original style, his new imagine is quite good. Also I have to notie how brilliant you did Homer's face here, it's very good. That borders around his eyes looks like a shadows under the eyes caused with not getting enough of sleep. Tongue The hairs - turn out also very well and looks... natural.
The hands modelled pretty nice, I love when the personage have his fingers spreaded apart such as you have shown.
You have very good technics of drawing! Smile

Hehe! Its a very nice cross over idea Big Grin
The second attempt is a great improvement, the hair style also suprisingly suits him!  Gigi I think you've done a really good job on slimming him to look Tim Burton style, but keeping his gut to keep the Homer Simpson look.
Very impressive Rizzy Smile
