A big thank you to Marco for letting me color this one.
I took my time on the background, I don't know if it was the same setting he had in mind, though.  Tongue

Doesn't matter what i had in mind, because it's pretty much what i drew Big Grin And you made it way better! Gave a really intense feeling of darkness and grittyness to the background, and the girl is colored very nicely, always with a good eye for shades and "mood".

I thank you for making this in color, as it's one of the pics that i liked doing the most, cause of the original perspective. And hey, i always liked girls with guns  Gigi

Thanks Rizzy Smile

Nicely done! Great pic and great colouring Big Grin

This was one of the first Simpsons fan art pics I'd ever seen, second to Jakey boys stuff.
I wasnt 'around' during the making of this picture, so hell of an excuse to give some comments Wink

To Marco:
The perspective is definatly what sets this appart from other pictures. And yey! Guns!  Big Grin Havent seen them in fan art for a while actualy... Ahoy, ze classics...

To SpringfeildHorror (Rizzy):
Damn good colouring job. It gives it a very futuristic look, in the blue suit (unless I'm blind again).
The background is quite different to how I imagined when I saw it last year, but its a lot more detailed than my imagination. The dark mood suits the pic well, the colours are well chosen.

Das ist GUT bilder, jah! Gigi

You did a nice job on the coloring, Rizzy! I like the shading and the colors you've chosen really add to the feeling of this pic. Lisa

Could someone post the sketch/a link to the sketch? Because I don't think I've ever seen it.

Someone should really clean those walls Tongue

This looks really great! The colors are on-spot, and the details you added comparing to the original sketch look in place and nicely designed. Great work - both you and Marco... and thanks for raising this one, I almost forgot that drawing. Wink Go Marge!

This is Marco's half (well, it was just the sketch that I inked and colored XD ) of our trade that we still have.
I asked to have Maggie older, and like Sephiroth from the FF games. I love the wings, they're great. I just wish I had done my special furry shading for the feathers, now. Tongue

It's an awesome sketch and the colouring really fits the mood.   I like the dark highlights (dark highlights? it that even possible?!) in the hair, it's an interesting departure from the show-style colouring.   I think the wings look good as they are, I'm not sure it's the sort of pic for "furry" shading  Smile

I like very much the selection ov colors, a combination of gray, black and blue is one of my favourite, which i prefer almost always. Smile Ecellent deep blue color! Your work with her hairs is noticeable too, very pleasant to see, especially the tips of locks painred with dark blue - nice detail. Remarkable colouring!

I didnt want topost here anything, but the color structure of Maggiroth-resave is so impressive! Her hair is so expressive, I adore these colour curles! =} And these gothic wings - very fanciful, tanks, cool, but Id like to see Maggiroth on the dark background. =)

Maggie? as Sephiroth? Woah! <One Winged Angel> Tongue

Anyway, the shading on the Maggie-Sephiroth pic is just great. And a nice pose too. Tongue

You both have done a great job!

Agree with everyone - awesome colour choice, very well done, deep and fitting her personality here.
I don't like much font of "Maggie" writing, sign is enough, I suppose, but it's my personal little cavil and doesn't really matter. Maggie herself incredibly beautiful!

Hmm! How could I have overlooked this picture?? It's such a nice one, the gothic style looks good on Maggie, especially the torn looking wings... I'm not sure where the inspiration for this picture was gleaned from, but it is a great work of art Smile

Look at that hand, lying there
The room is dark, she shows no fear
I'm lying still, my eyes are wide
My heart is pumping, I'm still alive

I'm still awake against my will
What will it ever take
To still this burning in me?
