I've got a LOT of catching up to do, and not just on Vicky's art but I've been keeping up to date, and everything submitted so far hasn't ceased to amaze me! Here, your sketches are humorous and really on model yet still stick to your cartoony style. My particular fav here is defiantly the one with you hugging Homer. It's cute and reflects Homer's response at being called a tub of lard Glomps also very sweet, with very nice ink work Great stuff as always Vicky ^_^

As always lively, cute, and very "relaxing" sketches coming from your talented hand, Vicky. I love the glomp one (so lovely and lively!) and of course the hugging homer one. Your scribbles always put a smile to my face. Also love the little Maggies. Why? Cause there'cute! And on Model. and... Maggie!

Those are well funny, I like the way your friend looks at you on the first picture, where you're standing with arms stretched out and a demented look on your face! You, hugging the "big fat tub of lard" is pretty cute. I'd love to poke his belly and watch the hypnotic patterns some time. ^-^ If you want my comments on technical qualities, all I can say is wow. You can fit so much detail, and still have the lines looking so incredibly clean... (judging particularly on the first pic with you hugging your friend.) Keep it up!

Thanks guys.
4am paint chat doodles with my mouse and no construction lines cause, well... I can't do that with a mouse. XD; It's too difficult. Paintchat is all I have to draw in right now so oekaki style drawings are all I've got to show, sorry. The second one is going to be part of my calender picture (don't worry, it's gonna be redrawn in photoshop hopefully -_-).

With a mouse? ... *sbonk* *15 minutes later* Oh Vicky, those are awesome. I'vem issed your art, and what a comeback... Bob and his son are very sweet together, it's such a warm and cosy homely picture. As your standard, there's a happy, lovely feeling in those characters that really makes me go aww. But your Lisa-colin picture... i have no words. It's something straight out of Lisa's dreams i'm sure, it has to be cause it's so perfect. They should use your pictures to cure states of depression and lonelyness.

So you've drawn this with your mouse without using construction lines...? *faints* Those pics look great! Especially the second pic, it's really cute. And I agree with Marco that this must be something from her dreams. What kind of mouse did you use for these pics?

*Empethree's jaw drops open and slams on the floor with a thudoh my god, those pictures are soooooooo good. I couldnt hope to get anywhere near that quality when I used my mouse. The 2nd picture is absolutely fabulous. should print it for my bedroom wall lol. I like the colouring and shading on the 2nd picture a lot, wow

VickyI won't spread gushes to not to make you feel the only and the best nice work. ...who am I kidding, it's great And if I wasn't replying, that's only because I didn't have words. The second drawing strikes me down right into LSD state It's so nicely done. And I have no idea how you did that without construction lines, using mouse and from the first attempt... did you sell your soul for the ability to draw, or what? And the first drawing isn't any worse from the technical point of view, if I was a fan of Sideshow Bob, I'd aww at it as well. But Lisa and Colin are the winners to me. Thanks so much!

I'm really not a sideshowbob fan , but your mouse work looks very good. As for the Collin /Lisa pic IS GEORGEOS, I just have to draw those two lovers. Kinda of an nice idea for a february themed picture. Very good Vicky!

^^ Thanks everyone. Here's some OC doodles. I've been feeling really discouraged to draw the last few months because I lost an entire folder of like, 400 drawings on my computer (well, I lost everything on it because I had to get it wiped clean) and because of other things. I just started drawing again this month anyway.

VickyDamn, I'm really sorry to know that *hugs* That's really sad, to lose so many pictures in a second... I don't know what such an event would do with me. But you're still an artist, and if some of those lost pictures are still kept in your mind, you can restore them in time or draw even better ones. I've watched only the first session so far (Jill), and my oh my, the last part of it is astonishing.

Vicky, if you still have the computer in question it still may not be too late depending on what you have put on the PC. www.pcinspector.de - PC Inspector File Recovery has recovered a LOT of lost stuff for me, and its totally free, recovered stuff from years ago when i scanned my drives. You may not be able to recover file names but you may still get them or at least some back..... Hope this helps trying to download the pics atm but failing, the interweb is a bit slow, probably due to everyone wishing happy new year, my hotmail box cannot find any emails too so looks like thats overloaded too.

Whoa, Vicky, those are *astonishing*, not much the technicality of them, which is still very good, but its about seeing a real animator at work there. I cant help but feel the huge difference of skill that goes between you and i think almost everyone else on the board. I, personally, find drawing new characters such a challenge, but you pull it off so easily and fluidly, looks liek you've been doing it all your life. I'm saving these three for learning purposes, and thank you again for such interesting works. My favourite is of course the first one because it has many little details too (love the part with the floreal vine)! Sorry to hear about your HD fault, though... i had my fair share and i, too, have lost a lot of my originals... it sucks, but as Empe said, maybe there's still some hope.
