Anyway... of course that was writers' joke, everyone here understands this, and I hope you understand that we understand it, too. But that doesn't explain anything: even if that was a joke, it was still Lisa's act, and I was trying to understand her motives. Janglewolf already explained it to me well, so your one-liner wasn't really necessary, especially after discovering that there were no deep thoughts behind it.

That's what I say - the man with some acceptable life experience wouldn't never did that nonsense like giving absolutely unnecesary specification and not predicting the consequences of own deeds. At least it is under punishment at usual schools where you must not rise with your "wisdom", there's even no need for Marge to have a hand somehow. :-\ Her childhood is the only justification. And it's more than enough for this moment. We  have no right to demand from her to act always like adult person.

I doubt this question would have appear if we knew Lisa's reaction to what has happened after her words. But the episode has ended right after that scene... so it stays in the dark for us. But I believe that she felt very sorry right after she saw her Dad losing consciousness once again...
