It's your first picture? Congratulation, it's pretty good for a first try. Lisa
Did you read the book Cartooning with the Simpsons? I'm a beginner too and this book helps me a lot.

One point for Andreas! I made another mistake with the shared wheels Tongue
And for the pantograph, there is at least 3 mistakes: the position (as you said, Andreas), the number of pantograph (one is missing) and the side of the one I drew. Wink

PS: I hope my last sentence means something in English. Rolls Eyes

Thanks for the support Gustavo, i'm currently drawing again and again trying to perfect my drawings, though i do have trouble with some parts of my drawings, such as hair, hands and eyes, apart from those niggles i can do the rest such as the dress, but i will keep on drawing until i get it right. Back to my drawing and grabpics!!

My new wallpaper. Trillian 4 4ever!
Note: I don't use Trillian on my MacBook since although I signed up shortly after Build !42 came out, more exactly on May 13th 2007 I'm not yet invited.

In fact, this type of train can't be used without a trailing locomotive because wheels are shared between the trailing locomotive and the last passenger car. So because it's impossible in the real world, I don't know how to draw this type of train without a trailing locomotive. Big Grin

Well, actually, this is wrong. The cars do share their wheels indeed, but not the locomotives. You also misplaced the pantograph (the thing that touches the catenaries [the wires]) a bit. Wink Adding red lights would be appropriate, though. Nevertheless, this is a very nice picture. Smile

Dagdamor

Yes, they are always exist to allow a train to move in both direction, but if you wouldn't draw it, it wouldn't be a big mistake, and the picture wouldn't look like it's an arrival, not a departure. Smile

But you're right anyway, it can look like an arrival. I'll try to add red lights on the trailing locomotive (like on the real train) and also a 'movement effect' (maybe a trail).

Also, Lisa has lost some of her spikes and her nose is almost invisible.

You're right, I will try to improve this part of the picture.

Sorry if I'm too nitpicking today

No problem. Your comments help me to progress. Thank you Smile

Hehe, I remember that song (only from GTA ofcourse) Big Grin

Yeah, that was one of the better tracks from GTA: Vice City, but most of the time I listened to the talk stations. Wasnt quite as good as the old 'Chatterbox' but it had its hilerious moments too i.e. Pastor Richards shooting the naked guy on air.  Gigi
