Yes, it is like CalculatedChaos said! Still, it's hard to believe that a robot-like character in 1,5 hours can produce the same impression as a human person like Lisa during many many wonderful episodes.
Well, you have not seen the movie - I give the great minds from Pixar-Animation more skill than the Simpsons creators. But you might be right, they are not meant to be compared, Lisa and Wall-E, but they are meant to be my favorite imaginary characters of all time. By the way, Wall-Eīs mate is Eva - she is not much of a deep character... but she is so vivacious like my own creation LunaStarshine and that is also a plus why I love this movie so much.

Well... I saw the movie and it hit me straight into my heart! I just can say, it is the one of the 3 best movie I have ever seen in movie cinema (right after Dead Poet Society and Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie). The one who has not watched it, yet - missed something. The one who will not have to fight with tears - has no heart. Wall-E is now in an equal (=) position with Lisa Simpson in my heart...

Thanks, Shadow Nait, allways a good feeling to get replys by you. Okay, here is the reason for my absence in the Futurama-Simpsons contest... I know it is not a good apology and itīs true I had not much time - but you know, if you have inspiration, you cannot force yourselfe to something else. This picture is drawn on large paper, twice the size of paper I usually use. So it has more details and freespace. Its a scene from my novel "Belial" and it is actually dark night (not knight ) - itīs a romantic scene between two main characters in the novel - you see it from the point of view of the man. Shading follows the next weeks... Enjoy.

I've started using my youtube account to upload videos of stuff that I draw. I don't know how often I'll keep updating it though.
"Lisa in Flash"
OMG, nooo, donīt do that. You use Flash for drawing like in photoshop? That is terrible - why donīt you use Photoshop or other programms with correct prushes? I mean, vector-graphic you can scale ... but... duh, never saw that before, gotta sit down a whiel.

I like the drawing a lot, and the hair styl is something very special that defines you and your art. Things that are not drawing skill related: Your choice of Lisas color is very wirred and wrong in my eyes. Bit slighly brighter yellow would have done the job - but as I said, not a matter of skill, a matter of a bad decision you took. Well, the water is not really well done, you can do that better, I know it. Try to mirror the image on a second layer behind the main layer and use that "finger"-icon-tool (dunno the english name) to sponge wild around... than fade the colors a bit - you will get a excelent water result. I think Beb did it well on her "Ganges"-picture. What else to say as [Peter Griffin] "Go on..."[/Peter Griffin]

However I agree that it cries for some coloring. Of cause, besides the colors - this picture needs correction in proportions and perspectives. It was just a scribble and now I am going to make something out of it. ^_^ Comission, G.H.īs women Woman* Hope it's coming along all right! Well, matter of fact, its women, cause there are a bunch of scribbles of her on the sheet. The picture can sure take while (working almost on all stuff at the same time) - but you donīt have a deadline after all. btw, is it okay if I ask who she is (nice asian touch)? The girl that used to be with you, right? I can see why you want me to draw her... I love personal pictures!
