Title: Cargo VS G.H. (Caution, no topic)

Nobody else want to join our interisting conversation?
You and Serge having a conversation is usually an invitation for everyone to put on their helmets and any other body armor they might possess.

But uhh... from what I can see in this conversation... it sounds like you two just have a difference of opinions about something and you're both arguing to try and change the other's mind. Trust me, it's not gonna work; you lost from the moment you started talking.

That is one inappropriate statement. Where did you ever see me and Serge "fighting" that hard? I want proove. :)

Oh no, it is the old stupid talk... loog the whole reason to write in a message board or having a conversation or argument is to show your oppinion and make the opponent to understand you a little bit more. And I try to understand Dag a bit more - he has problem with the religion-related plot on the movie...

G.H. I would be pleased if you can offort us with some CONSTRUCTIVE writing... like how YOU think about the movie...

Of course it was intended as a sardonic joke about the way that I hardly ever see you and Serge getting along really well... I mean it seems like you two are at odds from time to time. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I do recall one incident involving Winged Lisa where you and Serge were at each other's throats.

That's cool, but just remember one thing: Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded. The moral of the story there is that you can get all hot under the collar at the person you're arguing with, but it really accomplishes nothing. And maybe I'm jumping to conclusions here, but as I said, you and Serge have a tendency to trade barbs when you disagree about something. It's all well and good if you just want to understand him, but from the outside looking in, it looks like this "conversation" may go to familiar places.

Mmm I dunno, constructive writing never really was my thing... and if you really want to know, I haven't seen either movie. I haven't even heard of them. I don't watch Futurama, all I've seen are a couple episodes and know just enough to be able to identify the characters by name and personality.

No.
If you are not sure about things, you should leave your mouth closed / should avoid writing something, shouldn?t you?

I have no problems with good old Dagdamor. And he has no problems with me.

I wonder, if you have nothing to do with Futurama - why do you post in this thread? I am really wondering why you came back to LTS... you never made a Lisa related posting, yet... you just annoy me a bit. I like to be annoyed.

BTW - it is even more ratarded by you, remembering the "relationship" of some message board members - don?t you have something else to care for? :D

I wouldn't call it being retarded, it's more like being observant and aware of your surroundings.

You asked me to join the conversation, not say what I thought about the movie. Next time be more specific.

Sooo... you don?t have much conversation in your life if you don?t know how to get into one correctly? :D

In English joining the conversation means saying something that elicits response from someone else. I think I did just that.

And judging by your responses, I'm really getting under your skin here, because your last two posts have been petty insults.

Yeah, and you responsed to nothing anybody asked... or did I ask you "what do you think of my relationship to Dagdamor?"

Under my skin? There are bones, muscles, venes and blood under my skin, but no George Harrison! :D
Actually... you where insulting yourselfe...

BTW: I could do this the whole night, you are really amusing.

I didn't respond to a question that was asked. You simply said "Would anyone else like to join the conversation?" so I joined. Now we're talking. This is called a conversation.

And "getting under your skin" is a figure of speech for annoying you. Which seems to be an easy thing to do with someone like you.

Back at ya. I always welcome a good debate, regardless of the subject matter or rules of engagement.

Wow, you still don?t get it. I know what a conversation is. But do you really put random thoughts in a conversation you just joined? People whould really think you are strange... and it is not really intelligent...

Well, I can?t proove it - you just have to belive me - but I am laughing. :D

BTW: "Someone like me"... like what? You don?t know me. ;)

No... putting in a random thought would've been saying something like "Did you know that the average lifespan of a duck is five years?" That's a random statement unless the conversation revolved around ducks. But the conversation was about Futurama, and was being carried on by you and Serge. So two angles of approach would be the most appropriate - either Futurama, or the way that you and Serge seem to be in constant opposition.

That's good. Laughter is healthy.

True, but I know enough about the way you've acted in the past to make an educated guess about your actions in the future.

Indeed.

I have a figure of speeche for you, too: "the smart one retreats"

So do I. I go now. Had my fun! ^^

Um... not to butt in or anything, seeing as this an open conversation and all...

But 'Laughter is healthy.' isn't a figure of speech. In this context it happens to be a statement of opinion.

I believe Frank (Cargo) intended that "figure of speech" thing to be a dig on me due to the fact that I used the figure of speech "getting under your skin".
