Title: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on October 25, 2006, 17:04 the light exists... and the dreams also.... :p
hello folks!!! :) my new galery..... ;) c'mon Gustavo words? words?... hmmmm...... no more words..... lisa is all!!!! :o Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on October 25, 2006, 17:12 this it is drawing is very strange? reflection of one night without ideas and tormented? I must confess that estab very sad? fear?. the barrier that it prevents me to follow ahead?.
Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Dagdamor on October 26, 2006, 02:37 Gustavo, as usual, your style is brilliant... I wish I ever could draw like this :)
Both pictures are nice in their own way... no need to talk about the first one :) Lisa is beautiful on it, and the coloring is very impressive and cheerful. Heh, I love it! The second pic is sad and for some reason makes you think about your own inner world... *sigh* she's tied to the ground, right? I'm not sure about that... If so, I believe this metaphor indicates your own state. I hope things will be better in time, Gustavo, no matter why you feel tormented. Lisa is an angel, she shouldn't make you suffer. :) Very impressive picture, and thanks for sharing... I think I will look at it again many times in the future... Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: OPUS on October 26, 2006, 14:53 Gustavo, you just stole a breath out of me, speacially on that first pic. They are both really nice, but there is something on that first one that made it feel like part of an animated short of some sort. I dont know the posibilities are endless. To what or what is she singing? Adorable , just adorable. The second pic appears like if she was in pain, I cant really explain why, but thats my first impression out of it. Keep them coming, man! :)
Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Casper on October 26, 2006, 15:14 Wow...
The first picture is, very unique. She seems to be praying for somthing, possibly for the well being of someone/somthing. The angle a good way to portray this picture. The second picture... whe-heee, you know you could write lyrics for Slipknot ;) You've worked very on getting this right, and its payed off. She looks like she's fighting within herself... I can see 3 sets of wings. The classic Angel wings, some other spread out wings, and evil wings. Seems like its raining, as everything is wet and dripping. Maybe its the flood of her tears in the heavens of her mind?... *head explodes* Very good pictures :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on October 26, 2006, 19:59 2 new drawings…. and nevertheless not yet I can draw an Lisa with a smile…. the smiles are a so pure gesture that sometimes I cannot obtain…. a smile is an exit at the moments of desperation… and the anguish that we found sometimes….
Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: capadde on October 26, 2006, 21:14 I've always loved your style, Gustavo. Thank you for these drawings, they are beautiful.
Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Dagdamor on October 27, 2006, 00:36 Aw, nice pictures once again. :)
I liked the first one more, it's dreamy and happy. Heh, did anyone notice there are two butterflies on it? ;) Just kidding, it's a beautiful sketch. I look forward for the colored version! The second picture is technically very well, too. I didn't understand why Lisa is so sad, but her pose is cute. :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Casper on October 27, 2006, 18:07 Awww, so cute ^_^
Natural Love: Cherry Lisa again! :D You've drawn it very well. Your style is deffinatly becoming a lot more, fine-tuned with the Groening style. She is very on model here. I'm always impressed by how you but so much detail into some of your pictures. She Is My Friend: This is nice... if you excuse the saddening face. Its hard to see why she's upset. Maybe being overworked or somthing. Regardless, its a very well drawn picture :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on October 27, 2006, 20:50 Thank you for these drawings, they are beautiful. thanks? I really thank from you Cappde... very thanks!!!! :)…. so that from always I have watched your drawings and I have found inspiration ;)… memory the wonderful “Windy night” :Dand my favorite (Lisa mermaid)…. (although the one of Lisa with the t-shirt of real madrid is very original) thanks! :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on October 27, 2006, 21:04 I look forward for the colored version! :confused:hmmmm...... :)a perfect idea mr moderator (or serge) :) but it can be better :)…. I can create a new topic in where we could be coloring techniques step for step in this draw :lisa: (or any other draw :homer:)… it could be a species of tutorial :) the objetive is clarify doubts and to share our techniques of color… but a question in with program ?(photoshop or OC) ... Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Black_raven on October 28, 2006, 13:10 Wow, I can't seem to keep up with your amazing art Gustavo!!
Well, what can I say!?! Pure brilliance :D I just love your unique floaty style in your Lisa work and I apologise for not commenting enough :D Your art skills never ceases to amaze me :p Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: ametur_poet on October 28, 2006, 13:39 For the first picture: A bright light has shined through her life. After the longest time of trying to contain it, she cannot anymore. She seeks contentment. From an angel just like her.
Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: SimpReal on October 29, 2006, 09:02 There is so much emotion in your pics, Gustavo... I would like to be able to express that in words, but you already do it with images. In this thread, with your pictures, I reached the happiest of joys and the deepest of grieves... Ah, man, stop tugging at my heartstrings so hard :)
I don't want to comment the pictures technically, although I can see improvements with each one. Also, I wanted to suggest you to trace them, or offering to make it myself... but I think that the "sketchy" nature of the pics, with the pencil dust and dirt being actually a part of them, adds to the rough feelings of 'em. So in the end, stay as you are and never change :D Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on October 30, 2006, 19:31 and I apologise for not commenting enough :D :) Hello! do not worry! ;) Thanks! :p Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Shadow Nait on October 30, 2006, 21:13 Hello, Gustavo.
Destiny That's very impressive! I'm charmed by it's atmosphere of pain and poetic sensuality. That's right, I like the way you draw Lisa, in spite of the fact that she feels far not well here. I'm sure it's like a birth of a new creature, a birth of an Angel. I'm look at her blossoming out wings, she's like a newborn butterfly just finding its wings. The blood flowing down, her face, the unknown land around her - all of this as a confirmation of her silent suffering. The cordages binding her to the ground do not give her to rocket high into the sky to decrease all that pain she got. Or maybe protecting her from suicide, when she dash downward to the earth. I would to say you are the Master of symbolism. Could I ask you what you were inspired by drawing this picture? There's some romantic words presents on pic, so I just thought you gave it from somewhere. Or it was your rich imagination? Enlightenment That picture is very good and pleasant to the eye. The colours are selected remarkably :-) Half growing up Lisa looks charmingly. Flowers, ribbons - all done in order to underline her unearthy beauty. Natural Love Well, the picture reminds me another your picture, which I've seen on SR, called "Light of my spirit" if I do not wrong. As well as that picture, the one represented here also is very handsome. Fabulous and fairy-tale. She is my friend I think, you represented here Lisa in a library at which, possibly, you used to go (okay, don't laugh at me. To walk at a library is not very shamefully, especially, if you are the Lisa-fan). The pic is interesting enough, but I can't say anything certain about it. Lisa is pretty good. Why does she cry? (does she cries at all?) Maybe because the real friendship implies the same mutual exchange of feelings? By the way, you're one of my favourite artists drawin' Lisa on their own. I've seen many of yours pictures and that's impressed me. So, please, continue to fluster my imagination by your wonderful pictures! Common remark (don't be angered) Man you know, your pictures very nice, and your style is very positive. But there's one thing that I can't accept in your tracery :-). This is hints on femininity of Lisa. (I mean the "open legs/short skirt"-style of imagine) She is little girl for me in spite of fact that I personally also drew her in adult condition. Possibly, my life perception is here in guilty (maybe, because I uphold the slightly "puritan" views on life, heh ;-) ), but who said we all must have identical tastes? So continue your work in that key when I'll always look after you. :-) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on October 31, 2006, 20:05 Hello, Gustavo. I cannot control my feelings when drawing :red:…. excuse me!!! :( Thanks!!! :) :) :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on October 31, 2006, 21:30 I not have ideas! :(
D'OH! but...... :p Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Andreas on October 31, 2006, 23:17 on the feminity of Lisa....... sorry! I cannot control my feelings when drawing :red:…. excuse me!!! :( Don't change it! That's what I always admired at your pics - although Lisa is portrayed as a somewhat fragile being (in a good way), she always has a definite personality, and to that personality also belongs the feminity aspect. As I explained in my introductory posting, the message "You are Lisa Simpson." has a special meaning for me, and it somewhat defines my life as well. You cannot deny yourself, and regardless how hard you try, you're always yourself - so why not live your life and learn from the struggles you have experienced? It defines you as a person, and as an individual. From all Simpsons characters, Lisa has the strongest individuality, and that's what I love about her. Living your life also means living your dreams - like you were expressing in the thread title as well. :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Dagdamor on November 01, 2006, 10:28 Gustavo
About your latest drawing... I'm not sure I understand it right, but Lisa looks like you did something wrong to her ;) and knowing you, I'd say that's impossible. But Lisa looks very nice in such outfit, I especially like her hat - for some reason, it reminds me of an Italian artist. (No, not necessary Marco. :p) Nice picture (if only a bit sad), looking at it, it's hard to believe that you're running out of ideas! Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: ametur_poet on November 01, 2006, 11:07 Serge, you don't understand? It means that many emotions of our universe cannot be expressed through mere words. Instead, it is through art that things are best expressed.
Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on November 04, 2006, 20:41 The colour of you soul
which is the color of your soul? I thought before about “black” and month felt always very sad… nevertheless lacked light…. my color is the blue one…. hidden dark… in which my feelings and. clear and it cheers in the days of sun :) ..... which is your color? Impossible Love…. a drawing of Lisa in which it is not Lisa…. it inspires to me by a picture of the house of my grandmother… ;) Love. the result of nights of cold… and a sadness that is killing to me…. :( Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: ametur_poet on November 04, 2006, 21:15 Your third picture: She has waited, so very long, day after day, year after year, waiting for her love to return. She hasn't given up, but is still forever waiting. Amazing picture, Gustavo.
What is the color of MY soul, you ask? Red-black. Anger and fear all together in one. Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gazmanafc on November 05, 2006, 01:45 I'm gonna be short, and sweet about each pic here. :P
Eligtenment: The use of light and shade is kick butt! Seriously. It seriously captures the mood, its also a great pose. natural_love: Is it me, or is Lisa a little well, "flirty" n that pic? Maybe a few too many spikes coming off the dress though, but that's IMO. she_is_my_friend: Another great pose. To me, what I look at most in a picture is the pose. love WOAH! That is one hell of a picture. The emotion is so in your damn face and effective, it works well even if you were never to colour it. Though a minor detail, is that we can see under table where we shouldnt. (I'm not exactly good at describing but you should know where I mean ;)) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Dagdamor on November 06, 2006, 06:31 I should have commented your last set of pictures long ago!
Sorry if my reply might sound offensive. I'm not in my best mood right now. Stupid work... The colour of you Soul - it's nice, very nice pic, but I must say that Lisa look way too offmodel on this drawing... it's mostly because of her mouth and overbite, but I hope other people around liked it as it is. :) I'm not against big overbites on your pics, it's your style, but here it just doesn't look right imho. Lisa's expression is also a bit odd. On the other hand, the colors are great, and the picture looks nice overall. love impossible - aw! The only thing in the whole drawing I didn't like is the title. ;) Everything else is great. Heh, "a drawing of Lisa in which it is not Lisa"? Interesting idea... though someone else might want to add her sax to the picture, or a couple of books, or at least a pencil. Lisa is a creative person, right? Very creative, and this picture shows her only as something fragile, cute and adorable (which is true anyway). The drawing is nice nevertheless... I like it very much. Even if technically there is no Lisa there. love - again, Lisa looks a bit offmodel on this picture, but aside from that, it's good. Keep it up :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: SimpReal on November 07, 2006, 10:32 Gustavo, i have not enough words to describe how much the feelings that pour out of your pictures makes me feel empathic for you... I never saw such "window on your soul" like pictures. I am torn between praise for you and your creativity, or sorrow for your situation.
Trust me, i understand it very well... i wish i could hug you know and tell you it'll all be ok :) I want to talk, of all these pics, of "love impossible". It struck me dumb in its originality and effectiveness. Exactly as Dagdamor said... a picture of Lisa without Lisa, and it works so well! I can't praise you enough for this, it makes me feel things that i didn't feel since a long time. Thank you very much Gustavo, i wish i could do anything to make your torment go away, but i also know that the worst of Torments can also be the greatest of Love. How silly we are, huh? :p It's all for her :lisa: Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: ametur_poet on November 07, 2006, 10:56 a picture of Lisa without Lisa What is left of Lisa is what the picture is. A simple memorial to the kind little girl. It is peaceful, and saddening all at the same time.Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Casper on November 07, 2006, 13:41 Gustavo, these rock dude ;)
Colour of your soul is a brilliant name! And the picture match's the quality of name :D Its very well drawn, and coloured. Not much to say about it other than its like looking into tranquility :) Cherry Lisa is always a joy to see :lisa: My soul would prolly be dark metalic green with red strips. Yeah. Whew... Love_Impossible is damn well drawn. I'm not very good at working out meanings to art, prolly because of autism. But I can comment on it technicaly. Flower :) Hehehe!! :p The butterflies are nice, they look purty. I do have an idea for this one... seems like she's worked so hard she's drifted off into sleep, and her evironment fades into flowers and nice things! ... seems, in her dreams... the table also turns to glass ;) A few proportion issues but nothing too heavy. I'd leave it and slap a 'Finished' sticker on it. Well, nothing that would cover up the beauty of the picture :) Awsome-id-ness! Good luck with future drawings :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: capadde on November 07, 2006, 18:03 Glad to see that you're still making pictures. Can't understand where you get the inspiration from.
I believe these pictures are filled with less magic than your earlier ones, but that's to be expected. None can keep up making perfect picture after perfect pictures. The size difference of Lisa's eyes in "The Color of Your Soul" is disturbing, even though the coloring is neat. In "Love", there is some major error with Lisa's and the table's legs. Even though Lisa is as cute as ever, and the flowers are excellent, I can't let that pass. "Love Impossible" and "Delirio" on the other hand looks ok to me. The first one looks dreamy, has some nice shading and great details. The second one contains everything that I LOVE about your pictures. You draw Lisa in a completely different style, but it is still Lisa, and the cuteness of her knows no limit. Clean that one up, and I'd say it's a masterpiece. *crawls back into the corner* Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on November 07, 2006, 19:49 *crawls back into the corner* hah hah hah hah !!! :D true!!! true!!!! :o ....in efect I can't found inspiration in this days.. but perhaps is "only a moment" ;) .... perhaps not :?: hmmm.... perhaps in impossible found inspiration in the sad days... in the rain days.... Thanks Capadde ! :) :) :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on November 07, 2006, 20:09 Thank you very much Gustavo, i wish i could do anything to make your torment go away, but i also know that the worst of Torments can also be the greatest of Love. How silly we are, huh? :p It's all for her :lisa: :) Ohhh!!! it is the truth :( but the light exists and the dreams too !!!! :p lamentably that is the only reason for my life… :( But in this life I found the hapinness... :) Thanks Marco!!! :) for your words... and thinking a little more..... I love Lisa each day more!!!! :) Thanks again friend!!!! Thanks!!!! :lisa: Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Shadow Nait on November 09, 2006, 19:54 Gustavo
sorry! I cannot control my feelings when drawing. Excuse me!!! Of course there's no necessity to apologize. I should guess that my words will kinda disturb you, sorry about this. Now to your works. Delirio Nice picture! Lisa looks lovely... I like the style of drawing her saxophone as well as her attire, beret is charming. When she brings the hand to her mouth it seems to me that she has thinking about something...something very serious and philosophical like life itself. Be in search of motive of life!... Nice precept Lisa, I will necessarily think of it.Love That's a good one! Lisa looks charming, of course. She's weeping now, what a pity no one of us can't sit down by her side and to soften her sorrow. And it concerns not only to Lisa, you know... Unfortunately, I really don't know what I am to do or say, but still...the lightening will come eventually. The Colour Of Your Soul That's beautiful. Her face is fascinating and delightful! :) There's so cheerful curiosity in her eyes, she is like affectionate angel in pink :) Place in where she is also amazes with its beauty. You have drawn an excellent landscape! The moon shines so romantically, and it as if alive. What is the colour of my soul? Definitely not dark after seeing your great picture. I would tell a mix from different colours, except for black and grey. Yes, there is a dark blue color of the night sky, shining abyss of the boundless ocean, and among this sparkling magnificence flashes thin, barely appreciable pink strings... Very pacifying and beautiful picture. Love Impossible Though the picture does not contain our beloved one, but nevertheless is looked marvelously. And as we all know it's dedicated to one unique girl. So what else necessary to be explained? In all, very sensual drawings and very sweet. :) (A nice picture you've got as an avatar :) ) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on November 09, 2006, 22:52 thanks by your commentaries! :p

Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Andreas on November 11, 2006, 00:27 Aww, may I hug her like she hugs that heart? I can't really add anymore to what I've said already - your dreamy and ultra-sweet style suits her so much, just what a true Lisa fan needs. ;)
BTW, do you have a larger version of your avatar? I think it's not taken from the pics you posted so far. :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: ametur_poet on November 11, 2006, 00:55 Ah, a bittersweet drawing of a soul set free. A love found again, across space and time, found again. And when 1 is filled with joy of this love, someone, somewhere, is feeling the same feeling, for the same reason. :)

Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: janglewolf on November 18, 2006, 23:13 It's kind of hard for me to comment on that picture, it's one of the most striking and intense pieces of OFF art I have seen, almost frighteningly intense. I can't pretend that I understand all the symbolism (though I noticed your signature butterfly and ribbon themes) but the power still comes across in the devastation of the background contrasting with Lisa's sorrowful but calm expression and pose. It's both beautiful and disturbing, I can only imagine the emotions you have tapped into to produce it. I hope you're going to be OK.
Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Casper on November 19, 2006, 00:30 Janglewolf said it really.
She does look very calm in the midst of disaster. The sword is a mysterious touch, signaling that she is either dangerous or defencive. I love the amount of detail you put into, less significant objects, such as small flowers and damaged buildings. If I really had to guess what all this really means, my story is; she, being the angel, is condeming the sin-full in a large scale war. Well Gustavo, thanks for sharing this beautiful picture :) And good luck in the future! Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Suusje on November 19, 2006, 21:59 It's a very intense and nice sketch. You've also added a lot of details, which I like. I do see some problems with the perspective, though. The cross on the bottom left of the picture looks for example. It looks kind of weird. But it's overall a great picture. :)

you're not alone, and you definitely your words are very important, as your drawings, anyway you use them: You are a special, delicate and beautiful person inside, and if someone cannot see this, he/she's not worth of calling him/herself your friend. I'm sure lots of people here care about you and yur feelings, and they'd do whatever it would be possible to let you know you're not alone in this world. Just being in this forum, with many sharing the love for lisa, is a sign that you must not feel this bad. Sure, sometimes the darkness overwhelms us, and those are hard trials we must go through... it's hard when you dont have a helping hand, but being alone is also a way to realize how strong hearte, in the end, you are. Admitting your weaknesses isdefeating them. :) Well, i blabbed on. I know it isnt much, but.. *virtual huggg* :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Casper on November 20, 2006, 23:03 Well.... what can I add?
Gustavo, your an great person! SimpReal is right. This is a forum built on friendship. I dont need to be an administrator to know that... everyone here is a friend for you. :) And well... the art, I'm not to sure I wish to comment on it... I just hope her ribbon and emotions can be fixed so she can play amongst the butterflies again :lisa: Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Dagdamor on November 22, 2006, 16:30 I don't know what to say... but each new drawing of yours is more cruel than the previous... this isn't right...
I know it's up to the artist what to draw, but another side of my soul keeps saying "poor Lisa"... Please Gustavo, try to find something good and bright in this life :) I believe no matter what's happening now, there is a hope for the better. Try to cheer up :lisa: <-- this little girl wants it too... About the "Avatar of hope"... it's a well done drawing, the symbolic meaning of it is complex, my first thought after seeing this picture was that Lisa tries to defend the last piece of life when everything else around her is ruined. But even if I understood it wrong, I still like it because it's nicely drawn. Please don't be depressed! Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on November 23, 2006, 20:11 you do not worry… :)
the time heals to any wound… :( nevertheless the cold does not disappear…. but… :p I went to a store and I bought a small scarf, and a vest… (a gift from the beatiful Lisa) … and I bought others for my heart… :)as it did not find whereupon to shelter to me, I seated near the fire…. I hope that it does not burn …. :p and in my house I placed very glad colors to forget the hurt … :) (now less cold)… thanks! PS: in the black eyes of this love. I found the "peace" and sunrise… and in this words… the "peace" and blood that I need :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: ametur_poet on November 23, 2006, 23:22 Gustavo, your "Hurt" picture... Pain of life, pain of heart, can even amout to physical form. The pain of an artist, it mirrors the pain and emotion of his creations. The things that cause us pain, the world's many strangnesses, all amounting together.
Your "Black Eyes" picture... To see the unseen, to know the unknown, to do the unthinkable and succeed, is the ultimate goal, but few know that it has it's burdens. Lifted are some burdens by a friend, some weighed down further by sadness. Gustavo, your pictures make me full of joy and hope. Yet, some make me feel shocked and full of distress. What a wonderful ability that is given to you, a gift to draw. A gift to take emotions and put them on paper, and have the world know how amazing art is. Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Dagdamor on November 25, 2006, 12:06 The last picture is indeed better than your previous one, both technically and mood-wise.
I hope things are sorting out between you and Lisa. :) I still must say that I'm missing bright, cheerful, colorful pictures you used to draw once... sweet pictures like "Soy Milk" or "Glad Tapes". I'm not pushing you of course, just my opinion. :lisa: Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on November 25, 2006, 22:30 I still must say that I'm missing bright, cheerful, colorful pictures you used to draw once... sweet pictures like "Soy Milk" or "Glad Tapes". Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: SimpReal on November 27, 2006, 10:34 Well, Gustavo... you draw what is in your soul, and sometimes, our soulc can be pretty dark and hurt... your last pics are a perfect example. :)
Of course everyone would like better to see you as in the old days... happy, and colorful, and careless and in love. But i, personally, can understand very well what's beneath your pics and even if they're not cheerful and happy, they still enrich my soul other than being a good thing for the eyes. Whatever you will decide to draw, i'm still waiting for it :D Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Casper on November 28, 2006, 14:00 I'm sorry for not replying sooner... and for not having an excuse for replying sooner.
'Black_Eyes' Bugger! There is a unique way you've created this one... just looks awsome.I like the thick lines, sorta like shading when you turn the monitor contrast right up... but good :D I would like the see the old CCD/Gustvo in action again but... never ever ever change the way you draw :D The art itself, is very much brilliant. Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Gustavo on November 28, 2006, 21:09 I would like the see the old CCD/Gustvo in action again CCD! is dead in another forum :(… and it could not find form to express itself there and to leave this eternal solitude :)… but… Gustavo is with life :)… who is cold… but he believes in the love… and the clandestine happiness :p Lisa forever! :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: CargoOfDarkness on December 07, 2006, 20:36 You know what I think about your pictures, Gustavo (...just GOOD stuff, for those who don´t know)! :)
I whish to see some full-pencil-shaded pictures of yours. Or maybe you do the next pictures this way. And well, if you need ideas, my head is filled up to the top with ideas... just no time to do them myself. :lisa: Keep on, what you can do at your best! Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Shadow Nait on December 11, 2006, 19:43 Gustavo
Hi! Your pictures... Hurt The picture is very unusual. And not in the last instance because of blood, shedding on a black and lifeless space, where the child of light finds oneself, bleeding so bad... I just wonder, WHO could cause SUCH injury to Lisa. I see the the ripped ribbon, as a reminder about gentle essense on the child, absolutely useless now. Because the inadmissible thing has already taken place. And we cannot help her in any way, because of the lack of time and our own inability...So we can only see her when she is suffering, reproaching ourselves why not we appeared on her place? The whole forum of well-grown male Lisa-fans and we can't do anything for her! :( It is so difficult, Lisa, please forgive us... ever. Black Eyes Before all this picture is rather good. But why it have black borders? Like a some kind of a...funeral image...you know. Well the detail which I want to mark is a quite strange star-shaped buds of flowers. They are well supplement to a picture, very opportunely fills an empty places. And the name of the pic is well chosen despite the meaning that you have enclosed in it. So I like it. Avatar Of Hope As if this one continues the "funeral" themes in your drawings. I shall not speak it is bad or good, but I will stop on symbolics. There's so a lot of it. First of all, the statue of Lisa. As if it symbolizes all that remained from someone's hopes, someone's love, incarnation of which was Lisa. And it is very sad. The wings of Lisa and the halo around her head means for me her sacred essence, though I do not accept such definition on principle, but in this case (Lisa-case) I can make an exception. :) So there she was at some time, but now she's gone and nothing already can return her, as well as hopes. Only the Void in heart and mind. Occasionally it is so painful and hard that you don't know what to do at all. And then it comes - The Darkness. And the only unique hope that the light will come sometimes. If you really want it. Need it. If you ready to let him to go into your heart. A sword in her hand is turned downwards with its point and it means for me a sign of peace. Reserving to yourself the right of applying the force, but only in case of absolute necessity. Well, enough of that symbolics. The other details - the clouds, some flowers and grass, the headstones - are traced very well, I love the lots of a details. :) It always pays my attention to the pictures with no dependance from its quality. The drawings of yours there's no doubt of a good one, yes. So please continue to draw your outstanding pictures! Nice colors! And for some reason the photo makes it look more real than a simple scan... Like Lisa's expression. She looks like she didn't expect that at all. She's probably asking herself how she's going to land down now :D Nice variation of the "flight" theme. I like it :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Maléfix on May 24, 2008, 00:41 That star with bandage is from a kids book, isn't it?

If under "hell" you meant "place with cold weather", then I'm living in hell since by birth. :D Just like one guy said on TV yesterday: "What's the difference between winter and summer in Siberia? In winter, people wear coats buttoned..." I understand, though, that you meant something like "loneliness"... and Lisa does look lonely on this picture. I don't have much else to say, sorry :) it's a nice picture though. Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: brakusaetsya on June 11, 2008, 23:13 CCD!
Every single drawing by you make me think about what a great person, what a great artist you are. I respect and adore your feelings towards Lisa very much. And your last picture is just awesome. She's so cute, so beautiful, and in spite there's word 'hell' in the title, it looks like calm, funny, cute, inspiring picture (maybe she's supposed to be freezing, but you gave little Lisa such a beautiful unique smile, that it fix it all up and make her look like a little bird curled up in her warm nest). It's all about sincerity and pure feelings. Sorry if I completely misunderstood you, just passing by to say thanks for making me feel better by your brilliant artwork. Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: CCD! on June 12, 2008, 00:27 @Brakusaetya...

Sometimes I need Lisa as much as you do - heck, I hadn't seen her in my dreams for a long time :( Most of us here like or even love this spikey little heathen, but if she makes you suffer, then something is going wrong... I ask you to be strong, the life continues and Lisa is inside of you, not somewhere outside. Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: CCD! on June 25, 2008, 21:54 but if she makes you suffer, then something is going wrong... Serge...we are different .... :) Lisa is everywhere ... in the happiness of life, in the silence of the flowers .. in the blue sky ... in tears ... throughout .... the desire is just a boost of my youth ... my human nature ... El cuadro hermoso! Lisa is in a condition of free falling. You well managed to transfer Lisa's condition in her sight . On her face is a fright and curiosity at the same time. Magníficamente! Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: CCD! on June 30, 2008, 01:51 Thanks a lot Milchaos... the simbolism of this picture is that the wings aren't necesary to fly... :)

This last one is really sentimental... And the first one is simply great. Sorry, I can't find words to describe what I see in the pictures :/ Anyway, here's the simple way of saying it: Good job. They're both great. :)

see ya! Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: SimpReal on June 30, 2008, 15:29 What to say, if not "lovable"? :) That's what your Lisa is, after all, your style is develpoing in one of the most cute i've ever seen and not only talking of simpsons or american cartoons. it's personal and intimate.
Anyway as Dagdamor, i'm also worried when you suffer because the "lack of Lisa" but still it seems to me like you're taking things in a much more optimistic way than some time ago. That's great, and i am sure that sooner or later you'll manage to find a "balance" between this heaven and this hell fighting inside you. I can see that in your piccies. Never stop drawing, but do care about your life and work :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Empethree on July 01, 2008, 16:57 Gustavo, the last 2 drawings are completely fantastic. Lisa falling is drawn well, her expression as MilChaos said seems to have both fright and curiousity, maybe she can see the beautiful world from up there.
The second is, well, fantstic. Extremely cute and lovable :) Kind of picture I would love to print out and hang on a frame on my wall :) Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: Maléfix on July 01, 2008, 21:17 wooh, great pictures!
lisa looks like really falling. That is a sure sign of talent. I wouldn't even manage to draw Lisa's face... mal_humor, indeedly-doodly. This pic shows a special feeling I've never seen from Lisa... Title: Re: The light exists... and the dreams, too Post by: CCD! on July 03, 2008, 23:16 @ Marco.
Thank you brother ... I try to find a balance but me no like live a normal life!!! .lhmm me like live in my fantasy for many years ... It would be extremely boring work to have money and have a car, eating, or get married :/ I prefer my glorious lifestyle... a beatiful family, a job (slave), and a lot of missions and promises to the future.. _______________ we have real wings... our hands... only try fly and find your own answer. :) bye bye Brother! _______________________________________________... @ Empethree hey... thanks Mr Empethree... :star: .. your positive comment is necesary to my life and to continue with a pencil in my hands! _______________________________________________... @Maléfix Thanks is a honor..! _________________________.... yay! Yay, Lisa looks concerned, even a little bit angry on your last picture. I'm glad to see some realistic, everyday emotions on her face :) Now, a little step back to the official Simpsons drawing style and I'm happy again about your art. ;) Nice picture, Gus.
