I hope this one fits the topic... as you may know, I use the service of two hosting companies: this one, where LTS currently is, and DreamHost. I prefer not to use the latter one, because it's often slow and/or buggy, sometimes down... but it has a great advantage - the monthly newsletters I'm receiving now! :D The guy that writes them, is definitely crazy, I can't believe people like him can maintain a big hosting company. Humerous Air crash

This Cessna Citation Private Jet landed at a short runways airport, which had a ban on jet aircraft. It failed to stop at the end of the runway and slipped off into the bay at Atlantic City. There were no injurys, except to the pilots pride and possibly flying licence.

The crash itself is not funny...... but it poses the question, how do you get a jet aeroplane out of the water after? This may answer that question.....  :D

The pilot failed in his duty on 4 counts.

1. Landing at a airport with short runway not equipped for Jets
2. Landing with a 12 knot tailwind pushing him further down the runway
3. Landing for far down the runway
4. Not making the plane safe after evacutation.... failure to power down the aircraft led to a short in the power system when in the water.

To beat it all at the investigation his excuse was "the brakes did not work as efficiently as expected" - well duh!

It's most likely fake... although he would've had to practice playing that way at least for a little bit, because I don't know if you've ever tried to pick up a right handed guitar and play it left handed, but... it's damn near impossible if you're right handed and/or haven't practiced playing the guitar upside down.

Mebbe we could start a computer army up. It could be headed by the heroic Kernal Panic, the brave General Failure and the honorable Major Crash.

There would be many characters on the "command line". They Wil "Enter" battle with all the "Drive" and energy they have.

They will follow the "Program" and will not "Backup" in the face of the "BASIC" but deadly skills of the enemy.

The heroic soldiers will wear thier regimental "Caps" and will "Forward" orders using the old fashioned by reliable "Scroll". That will spread the "Word" and they will "Excel" in battle. General Failure, on his "Break," looks out of his command office, out of the "Windows" over the "Battlefield.

1942" the "Conflict" between the sides started, and the "Outlook" is still pretty grim to this day. It started with Major Crash's father, once an "Icon" but now shamed after an "Illegal Operation". He issued a "Bad Command" to his troops. They marched over the "Bridge" and "Erased" a whole town of civilians. Major Crash, mindful of his father's "Legacy" is trying to "File" away that part of his families history. "Loading" his troops onto the regimental "Bus" he crosses the "South Bridge", his "Memory" serving him right, the same "Location" as his father's downfall. He set's up a "Base Station" and settles for the night.

Meanwhile Kernal Panic is on his way to invading the enemy "Port". His ship, heavy with armaments is just at it's "Floating Point" on the water. One mistake and he could capsise. Hoping to "Chip" away at the enemy. The sea is cold, so cold that the Kernal puts on his "Jumper" from a distance he settles down with his telescope to "Monitor" the situation.

Just as he is about to give the command to invade, there is a "Flash" and he wakes up realising he was having a dream!!!
